How to add Xero tracking to an Activity with Synced Invoices and Prepayments

Scenarios:

  1. You wish to add Xero tracking to your activity and invoices/prepayments have been generated

This document assumes you know the following:

  • You have an active Xero account connected to Enrolmy

  • You are a proficient Xero user

  • You are a proficient Enrolmy user

How To Add Xero Tracking to your Activity

  • Edit your activity 

  • Scroll down to "Invoice Settings" and select "Show Advanced Options"

  • Select your desired "Xero tracking option

How To Add Xero Tracking to your Financial Documents in Xero

If Xero tracking is not added when an invoice is synced to Xero - these will not be updated retrospectively.

The advise from Xero is as follows:

Only use find and recode if you're an accountant or bookkeeper, or have experience with recoding. Recoding can result in significant changes to accounts and reports.

If you are not confident with Find and Recode in Xero - you will need to add the required tracking to each financial document manually.
